The Sedona Red Rocks tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American ruins, marvel at spectacular landscapes, and explore the local artisans of Sedona and the surrounding area. This day trip features an ancient Native American dwelling from the Sinagua Tribe that existed along this busy trade route between 1250AD – 1425AD. During our tour, we will explore the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument, one of the best-preserved Sinagua cliff dwellings in North America dating back around 1,000 years.
Following our time at Montezuma Castle, the tour will begin to explore the mystique surrounding Sedona with options ranging from cultural and spiritual to adventurous and active. You will enjoy views of the famous red rock features of Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, and Chapel of the Holy Cross. You will also be treated to views of Cathedral Rock, Snoopy Rock, and Submarine Rock, to name a few. In uptown Sedona, you can explore on foot the many art galleries and shops, get a psychic reading, or enjoy the serenity that Sedona provides with a glass of wine on the balcony. Guests will also have the option of experiencing Tlaquepaque, an outdoor arts & crafts village full of art galleries, craft shops, cobblestone paths & decorative arches. An alternate choice available to you as an add-on is an off-road jeep tour exploring the backcountry of Sedona. After approximately two hours, the tour returns home to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

This day tour was just excellent for a first taste of Arizona. Our guide for this small group tour was (Tall) Paul who was effortlessly entertaining and informative. It was a pleasure to be introduced to the nature and history of the area by someone with insight and passion for this part of the world. Although this was a 12 hour tour covering a lot of sights and miles the pace was decidedly laid-back. Had just about the right amount of time in Sedona for a leisurely lunch and wander around. Of all the tours I've taken over the years this is one of my favorites.
Took the bus from Phoenix, picked up at our hotel. Our guide was Montana and we were very happy with him. He was a very nice guy with a good Southern drawl and very knowledgeable about Phoenix and the surrounding area. We stopped at Montezuma's Castle and then a couple stops for pictures near the Red rocks. We stopped by Courthouse/Bell rocks and then a stop at an overlook above Sedona with the rocks behind. We had a couple hours to roam Sedona and shop, have lunch. Recommend. We had a great time. Water was provided.
Vortexes are thought to be swirling centers of energy that are conducive to healing, meditation and self-exploration. There are four popular ones: Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Boynton Canyon.
You do have 2 hours of free time in Uptown Sedona and you may do what you wish with that time.
Pick up times range from 6am-7am. We will contact you between 4-6pm the evening before the tour to confirm your exact pick up time.
These are all approximations, please check the weather prior to your tour. Winter temperatures range from 20-50 degrees fahrenheit. Spring and fall temperatures range from 50-80 degrees fahrenheit. Summer temperatures range from 80-100 degrees fahrenheit.
