March is here and Spring is in the air! Well, it will be on March 20th just in time for Spring Break. You know, the time when students from all over the country converge anywhere there is sun, water, and fun? Well, here in Las Vegas and Phoenix we are no strangers to this time of the year.
In Las Vegas, every spring break feels like summer. Mainly because it hasn’t felt like winter since December, but also because of the influx of people coming here to relax. During spring break we have so many exciting things to do that are fun, if you have a family or you just want to forget that midterm you bombed. No matter what your reason, we have things to do for all ages. For those of you who are thrill seekers we have two awesome water parks here in Las Vegas. Wet ‘n’ Wild, located in the South West part of town, and Cowabunga Bay, located in Henderson, both have unique and exciting experiences to offer families for spring break. If water parks aren’t your thing, each of our hotels on the strip have beautiful pools for you to soak up the sun and leave your stress back with winter. Hotels usually have pool side bars for those 21+ as well as family geared pools. We have some pretty beautiful weather in the springtime here in Las Vegas, so if you want to go outside and enjoy it come and join us on our Hoover Dam Half day tour. We have two different departure times being 8:00am and 12:00pm. On this tour you get to experience one of the greatest man made feats of the 20th century in all its glory as well as taking a tour inside the powerplant that delivers power to 1.3 million people. It is truly a sight to behold.
In Phoenix, Spring Training Baseball is where it’s at. Starting mid February all the way through the month of March we get to watch our Diamondbacks get ready for the new season. All within the Valley of the Sun you can see about 15 of the Major League Baseball teams prepare for the 2018 season in what is known as Cactus League. If you’re visiting Phoenix around this time, you very well might get a chance to see some of your favorite teams just a short drive away. In Scottdale, you can check out the Giants and the Diamondbacks. In Glendale we have the White Sox and Dodgers. Take a hop over to Peoria and see the Padres and the Mariners play. Or head over to Mesa and Tempe to see the Cubs and the Angels play. Here in Phoenix when Cactus League is going, you’ll never be bored. If you have some time to kill before a night game, come take our Apache Trail Tour that runs from approximately 9:00am- 5:00pm and experience the beauty offered by the Superstition Mountains wilderness, Tortilla Flat, the Dolly Steamboat cruise on Canyon Lake, and even Goldfield Ghost Town!
Some people believe that in springtime, love is in the air. Here we like to believe that adventure and fun is in the air. Come enjoy the springtime with us and soak up the sun here in the desert while you’re at it!
