REAL REVIEWS FROM OUR GUESTS
Mum and I went on this tour in September while we were in Vegas, we both had an amazing time. Our guide was very kind and polite not to mention extremely helpful! The trip out to the Canyon and Mine was filled with relevant information on both current events and the history of the areas we were traveling through. The stop at Hoover Dam allowed for some excellent photos before we moved on towards the Canyon. The Canyon and mine were spectacular and our guide at the mine was very knowledgable and funny. We had a great half day tour and would definitely look at using Detours again if we go back.
My three children and I did this half day tour from Las Vegas and our Detours tour guide was awesome. He was very informative and provided interesting facts. His knowledge and passion for the area is evident. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. They also provided water and snacks (unexpected and very welcome gesture when one has children). One does learn rather a lot about the history of the Wild West and the landscape at the mine is expansive and untamed. I have already booked a private tour with Detours for a large family group trip to Las Vegas in the summer and I have no hesitation recommending them.

It’s approximately 4.5 hours long. We make a photo stop at the Hoover Dam before arriving on site at 9:00am. You are expected to return around 11am-12pm.
Yes, there is a guided tour that takes about 45 minutes to an hour about the history of the ghost town and the mine itself. After the tour is finished inside of the mine, you will have a bit of free time to wander around and take photos.
